UPCOMING
BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: Holy Communion 8 a.m. and Traditional Worship Service 10 a.m. July 2 at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad. The 8 a.m. service features guest speaker Jerry Lane and the message, "Killing Giants.” The 10 a.m. message will be "Orthopraxy" with Rev. Robert Warren.
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: These events take place at 4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, unless otherwise noted:
- Sunday, July 2: 10:10 a.m. worship with Rev. Charles Melvin preaching; 9 a.m. Sunday school and 9:45-10 a.m. coffee fellowship.
- Tuesday, July 4: Office closed for Independence Day.
- Wednesday, July 5: 7:30 p.m. choir practice.
- Saturday, July 8: 11 a.m. Megan’s Love, a ministry to Pensacola’s homeless.
- Sunday, July 9: Welcome FUMC’s new pastor, Mark Lilly, and his family; celebrate with a picnic following the morning service. Hamburgers, hot dogs and condiments provided. Bring a dessert or a side dish.

WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: Worship service set 10:30 a.m. July 2 at 6659 Park Ave., Milton. Features special guests, the mission team of Jeff and Ghada Pribble from Bethlehem Christian Academy in the Holy Land. Events include 11:30 a.m. fellowship, lunch, a presentation on living in the local culture and teaching in the bilingual curriculum.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Friends begins at 6:15 p.m. Details: 623-6683.
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Bible Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.
PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.
