Steven Ray Hatch

1953-2017 Steven Hatch, a native of Mobile, Ala. and a longtime resident of Pace, Fla. died Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was an employee of Santa Rosa County Clerk of Courts. Steve was the former general manager of Roche-Belmany Mortuary in Mobile, Ala., and owner of the first gay pride store in Pensacola, Fla. “JUST FOR US” located at 120 South Palafox Place.

He is survived by his life partner of more than 20 years, Earl Melvin, Pace, Fla. Others survivors include one daughter, Heather Elizabeth Hatch Hodge (Rusty), Mobile, Ala.; one son, Clifford Warrington Hatch, Houston, Tex.; their mother, Marry Anna Hodge Hatch, Mobile, Ala; and one grandson Grayson Samuel Hodge, Mobile, Ala.

The family will receive friends at Family-Funeral & Cremation Thursday, June, 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to Covenant Care Hospice.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
