Westminster's members assemble parachutes for missions

The women of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Milton spent time cutting and assembling 30 parachutes for The Voice of the Martyrs. These parachutes will be used for dropping radios and literature into the jungles of South America, where there are no roads and modern facilities. VOM headquarters is in Bartersville, Ok., but it reaches out to missionaries in hostile or difficult-to-reach areas. Women working were Alice Meyers, Jane Hornick, Jenese Truelsen and Sue Jernigan. Pictured are Truelsen and Meyers. [Special to the Press Gazette]
