MILTON — Here is a list of scheduled faith-based services and events. 

UPCOMING

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: These events regularly take place at 4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, unless otherwise noted:

  • Sunday, June 25: Rev. Tim Trent preaching. 9 a.m. Sunday school, 9:45-10 a.m. coffee fellowship; 10:10 a.m. worship
  • Also: June 25–29: Vacation Bible School for children in grades K-5; pre-school class offered for ages 3, 4, and 5-year-olds who have not attended kindergarten. Participants must be 3 years old by Jan. 1, 2017. Supper for children is set 5:30–6 p.m.; VBS is 6–8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 27: 6:30 a.m. Men of Purpose Bible Study
  • Wednesday, June 28: 7:30 p.m. choir practice.
  • Saturday, July 1: 11 a.m. Megan’s Love, a ministry to Pensacola’s homeless.

WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: Worship service 10:30 a.m. July 2, 6659 Park Ave., Milton; features special guests, the mission team of Jeff and Ghada Pribble from Bethlehem Christian Academy in the Holy Land. Events include 11:30 a.m. fellowship, lunch, a presentation on living in the local culture and teaching in the bilingual curriculum. 

 RECURRING 

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Friends begins at 6:15 p.m. Details: 623-6683.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.

DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Bible Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.

PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.

BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 8 a.m. contemporary worship service, 10 a.m. traditional worship service at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad.

MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD: Worship 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton. Details: 623-2854.
