MILTON — Lee Willingham, an Auburn University graduate with a degree in Landscape Architecture, recently visited with Sunrise Kiwanis members.

“Willingham's design and implementation of color and design in Milton's landscaping have not gone unnoticed by the Florida Department of Transportation,” a Kiwanis media release states. “FDOT and Milton started with a grant program, and since Willingham has been innovative with water preservation — with the Smart System Irrigation monitoring, along with the best plantings for our area — FDOT has readily come back to him when grant money is available.

“The designs are right for the area and Milton's Landscaping Department readily cares for the landscaping, so it perseveres.”

Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all to breakfast at Tanglewood Golf Course any Wednesday at 7 a.m.
