Sunrise Kiwanis learns about National Youth Advocate Program

MILTON — The Sunrise Kiwanis Club honored National Youth Advocate Program therapist Sara Passaro with the Milton Pride tag. The foster care advocate helps find suitable nearby families for children.

Passaro earned her master's degree in social work and works in conjunction with Families First in Milton. The nonprofit organization covers four counties with just two office staffers.

Sunrise Kiwanis meets for breakfast 7 a.m. Wednesdays at Tanglewood Golf Course, 5916 Tanglewood Drive in Milton. Visitors are welcome.
