3 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. ATTEND A BEACH CONCERT. The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 10th annual free summer concert series, Tunes by the Dunes, from 6 a.m to 8 p.m. June 8 at Navarre Beach Park. The concert series will offer a line-up of 14 free outdoor concerts every Thursday until Aug. 31 at the Sand Crab Pavilion in Navarre Beach Park. This week’s artist is Marsha Marsha Marsha, a rock band. 

2. ENJOY LOCAL MUSIC. Bands on the Blackwater returns 7 p.m. June 9 on South Willing Street. The outdoor concert series, held Friday nights in downtown Milton, is free to attend. You can pull up a boat or bring a lawn chair and relax while listening to music. This week’s featured band is Deja Vu.

3. RIDE HORSES. Blackwater Saddle Club Play Day is set 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 10 at the June Ates Arena, 8604 Bobby Brown Road, East Milton. Sign-up starts at 9 a.m. and ends 11:30 a.m. Exhibitions start at 9:30 a.m. and the show starts at 11:30 a.m. Exhibitions are $3 each, the fun events are $3 each, regular events are $5 each, the arena fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Events include pole bending, cloverleaf barrels and arena races.
