MILTON — Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Joseph C. Bee, U.S. Air Force Airman Richard T. Brooks and U.S. Air Force Airman David J. Mapel graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airmen completed eight weeks' training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Bee earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Karen and Jeremy Bee of Gulf Breeze and grandson of Anne Bee and Chuck Bee Sr. of Aurora, Ill., and James and Sandra Nanninga of DeFuniak Springs. The airman is a 2017 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School.
Brooks is a 2016 graduate of Milton High School.
Mapel is the son of Mark A. Mapel and Tracy R. Seay of Navarre. He is a 2014 graduate of Navarre High School.
