1. ENJOY LOCAL MUSIC. Bands on the Blackwater returns 7 p.m. May 26 on South Willing Street. The outdoor concert series, held Friday nights in downtown Milton, is free to attend. You can pull up a boat or bring a lawn chair and relax while listening to music. This week’s featured performer is the Dusty Sanderson Band.

3. LOOK AT CARS. The first Central School Memorial Day Weekend Car Show is set 9 a.m. May 27 at Central School, 6180 Central School Road, Milton. Registration is from 9-11:30 a.m. and judging begins at 12 p.m. There is a $15 entry fee the day of show. Trophies and plaques will be awarded in the following categories: best in show, top three, Japanese domestic market imports, European imports, truck, race car, motorcycle, modern U.S., interior, paint, engine, rat rod, 30s-90s and older.
