3 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. ATTEND A PLAY. The Panhandle Community Theatre will present “The Momologues,” an original comedy about motherhood, by Lisa Rafferty, Shelia Eppolito and Stefanie Cloutier, directed by Gail Ready. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. May 11-14 and 18-21 at 4646 Woodbine Road, Pace. Tickets cost $12 on Thursdays and $15 every other day. 2. ENJOY LOCAL MUSIC. Bands on the Blackwater returns 7 p.m. May 12 on South Willing Street in Milton. The outdoor concert series, held Friday nights downtown, is free to attend. You can pull up a boat or bring a lawn chair and relax while listening to music. This week’s featured band is The Blenders.

3. RUN A 5K. The 2017 Blackwater Glow Run is set 7 p.m. May 13 at the downtown Milton Riverwalk and Historic District. The event is presented by Leadership Santa Rosa Alumni and sponsored by Yuengling. Top runners win prizes and proceeds benefit the RISE Grant for Santa Rosa County charities.
