MILTON — Each year on Earth Day, residents across the country take part in the Great American Clean-up. They remove garbage from streets and waterways in an attempt to better the environment.
This year in Santa Rosa County, Pace High School's NJROTC and the Blackwater Pyrates were among groups and individuals who removed trash from the streets of Milton and the Blackwater River.
