MILTON — Milton Rotary Club’s latest guest speaker was George Sigler of Sky Warrior Inc.

“He was a very interesting man with an incredible story,” a Rotary spokesperson said. “George retired from the Navy and wanted to test out survival techniques he had developed from research for those that might find themselves lost at sea.

"For the testing, he and a friend left San Francisco with a destination of Hawaii in a 15-foot rubber boat with only 6 pounds of food and no water.”

During his two-month journey, George encountered challenging seas, sharks, rough weather and other problems, but was able to complete the journey. He wrote a book titled, "Experiment in Survival" that chronicles the journey.
