At approximately 3:38 p.m. on April 7, Milton Police Department responded to the intersection of Peachtree Street and Applegate Street in reference to a disturbance where at least one shot was fired.
No one was injured in the shooting. One suspect, identified as Wesley Simmons, was arrested for aggravated assault for threatening a victim with a knife.
A second suspect is being sought and the case is still being investigated.
