Santa Rosa Medical Center hosts National Donate Life Month event

MILTON — April is National Donate Life Month, and Santa Rosa Medical Center is welcoming the community to an event to benefit organ donors.

The Donate Life Month event will begin at 2:30 p.m. April 3 at Santa Rosa Medical Center, 6002 Berryhill Rd, Milton.

The program will kick-off with an opening prayer at the flag pole in from of the hospital and a welcome from Trish Davis, Chief Nursing Officer.

Guest speakers will include organ donor survivors and representatives of teams hosting the event, including Lions Eye Bank and LifeNet Health of Florida.

Participants will transition to the hospital cafeteria at 2:45 p.m. for “Build Your Own Sundae Bar.”

The key sponsor for this event is Lesley Lang, hospital and community relations manager for LifeNet Health of Florida, who will bring representatives from the Lions Eye Institute and tissue bank.
