Milton High girls to compete for scholarship, jewelry

MILTON — Thirty-eight Milton High School girls will compete in the 29th Annual Miss MHS Scholarship Pageant.

The pageant will take place at 6 p.m. April 22 in the MHS auditorium.

Contestants, from various school clubs and organizations, seek a $500 scholarship and a pair of pink and coral Sorrelli earrings with Swarovski crystals.

Ooh La La owner Geneva Blanchard will donate the jewelry. Denise McDonald from Open Rose Florist has donated flowers for the event.

Judges will base their decision on contestants' poise, personality and appearance.
