A 20-year-old Jay man received minor injuries in a Saturday afternoon traffic accident.
Johnathan Clyde Wells was driving a 1987 Chevy truck north on North Simmons Road when he traveled off the roadway, causing the vehicle to hit a group of trees, according to a Florida Highway Patrol media release. He was transported to the hospital by helicopter.
Wells is charged with careless driving; alcohol was not involved, according to the release.
