1. SEE MILTON’S MARDI GRAS PARADE. The Main Street Milton Mardi Gras Parade takes place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday on Dixon Street in Milton. Collect beads and watch floats decked out in green, gold and purple. The parade will run from Dixon Street to Alabama Street to Berryhill Road, to Willing Street, and finish on Pine Street. 2. PAINT A PICTURE. The Santa Rosa Art Association will offer a watercolor workshop at 10 a.m. Feb. 25 following its 9 a.m. meeting at building 4900 of Pensacola State College’s Milton campus. Milton artist Jan Rich will hold a pouring watercolor demonstration and workshop. Participants should bring paper towels and watercolor brushes. Paper and paints will be available. 3. ATTEND A CONCERT. Pensacola Children’s Chorus presents ‘One World, Many Voices’ at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Saenger Theatre in Pensacola. The concert, directed by Alex Gartner, will feature music from India, Australia, Puerto Rico and Finland, as well as gospel, spiritual and American folk arrangements. This will be the first Children’s Chorus performance to feature the new Ambassador Choir and this year’s Choristers. This will also be the premiere of Andrea Ramsey’s “But Flint Holds Fire,” commissioned by PCC as part of the Chorus America Commission Consortium. It is a musical response to the ongoing water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
