NAVARRE — A Big Benefit Rummage Sale, featuring breakfast, is coming this weekend to the Holley Navarre Seniors Center.
The event is set 7 a.m. to noon Feb. 11 at 8476 Gordon Goodin Lane, across from the Navarre Library. Proceeds will benefit Gloria Lamoureux, who worked on many projects and chaired several fundraisers at the Seniors Center. “Glo” also volunteered throughout the Navarre/Gulf Breeze community.
Lamoureux became ill and spent over three months in the hospital. She was forced to sell her home and car and is now staying with her son. Each Monday her co-pay is $850 for her treatment.
The Holley Navarre Seniors Center hopes to raise enough funds to pay for some of her co-pays.
