Free tax assistance available

MILTON — AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will be available at three Santa Rosa County libraries beginning in February.

The AARP Tax-Aide program purportedly is the nation's largest free, volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service, providing service to millions of low- and middle-income taxpayers, with particular attention to those ages 60 and older.

Help is available as follows:

Milton Library (through April 13): 1-5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays

Navarre Library (through April 13): 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

Gulf Breeze Library (through April 17): 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
