MILTON — Experts from the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Santa Rosa County Extension Office will offer a spring lawn-care class.
The session, free to attend without pre-registration, is available at two locations:
- 10 a.m. Feb. 10, Santa Rosa County UF-IFAS Extension Services, 6263 Dogwood Drive, Milton
- 10 a.m. Feb. 17, Gulf Breeze Public Library, 1060 Shoreline Drive, Gulf Breeze
Blake Thaxton, commercial horticulture agent, will discuss how to have the best lawn using Florida-friendly practices. Attendees can learn about the right timing and methods for fertilizing and weed control, proper irrigation and other practices.
