Azalea Garden Club meeting to focus on roses

PACE — The Azalea Garden Club’s first club meeting of 2017 is open to guests and prospective members.

The event is 1-3 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Pace Fire Department, 4773 Pace Patriot Blvd. Sally Menk, who has experience growing roses in the area, will present the program.

Meetings continue the second Monday of every month, with programs for members and the community planned.

Watch for “Growing Your Own Food,” “Bee Pollinators” and “Butterfly Gardening” for children in the first quarter of this year at the Pace Library.
