SPEAK OUT: Milton parade needed more security — and about Bagdad 'house'

MILTON — Here are some of the latest calls, website and social media comments we received on issues.

THOUGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

I think our proposed president kind of shut up when she lost. She disappeared from the pages, but anyway I hope our president does well.

I hope some people who need a job will … do a little looking and get a job. I am sure there are jobs available. They just have to be sought after and gotten. If they do that, everything will be just great.

Anyway, looking forward to great Christmas. God’s blessings.

ABOUT BAGDAD ELEMENTARY’S GOALS

Being a part of our new “house” system is such an exciting event! We, as the adults in our school, get the privilege to enjoy having fun with our children!

Thank you to the community, our administrators and our beautiful-hearted children! Bagdad is a wonderful place to be!

FEEDBACK ON MILTON’S CHRISTMAS PARADE

It was great until the end. We were at the end of the parade route in front of Pic-n-Save. There was a long gap in the parade (I believe someone was hurt) and people just started leaving before Santa came. People were driving by the horses. It was a mess. Maybe next year they'll consider more security at the end in case something like that happens again.
