NAVARRE — A Monday afternoon traffic accident resulted in minor injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Navarre resident Hayden Shellenbarger, 20, was driving a 2007 Acura TSX in the left turn lane around 3:35 p.m. on U.S. Highway 98.
Meanwhile, Margaret Blackwell, 29, was driving a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country with Brian Blackwell, 35, both of Austin, Texas, west on U.S. 98.
Shellenbarger turned left on a solid green turn into Blackwell's path, according to the media release, which stated the Chrysler collided with the Acura's right side.
Margaret Blackwell received minor injuries, according to the release, which stated alcohol was not a factor and all involved were wearing seatbelts.
Authorities charged Shellenbarger with failure to yield, turning left in front of approaching traffic.
