Sunrise Kiwanis members tour Milton Fire Station

Milton Fire Chief John Reble, pictured with Sunrise Kiwanis President Bonnie Holt, receives the Milton Pride tag holder. Reble gave Kiwanis members a tour of the Milton Fire Station Nov. 2. Milton firefighters, who are permanent employees, annually answer over 1,600 emergency calls; 86 percent are rescue calls. Reble helped design the new station that has operated for seven years; he said the old station operated for 47 years. Reble said the fire station is the backup Milton Emergency Center. Sunrise Kiwanis meets 7 a.m. Wednesdays at Tanglewood Golf Course, where visitors may join them for breakfast. (Special to the Press Gazette)
