PASTORS AND CHOIR DIRECTORS: Panhandle Community Theatre will present a Christmas play, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” Dec 1-4 at the Imogene Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m. to make time for photos with Santa, refreshments and to enjoy the Girl Scouts caroling. AMERICAN LEGION POST 78 seeks student participants for the American Legion Oratorical Contest. Students in grades nine through 12 may participate as well as 4H, Future Farmers of America and home school. The contest will be 1 p.m. Dec. 3 at Avalon Baptist Church, 4316 Avalon Blvd., Milton. There is no charge for admission or parking.Native American drumming, dancing, flute playing and storytelling will fill the days. There will be over 40 vendors of Native American crafts and other items. MICHAEL WAYNE SMITH CONCERT: 6 p.m. Nov. 26, Olivet Baptist Church, 5240 Dogwood Drive, Milton.Smith has been performing since 2009. He is well known for his song, “Everything’s Fine,” which helped jettison his career as a solo artist. This year he released his sixth studio album totaling 12 songs, seven of which are original compositions.
