JAY — The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension will host the Fall Gulf Coast Small Farms Field Day.
The event is 8-11 a.m. Nov. 17 at the West Florida Research and Education Center, 4253 Experiment Drive, Highway 182 in Jay.
Registration, coffee and donuts will be available at 7:45 a.m. Informational tours and sessions begin at 8 a.m.

- Using Protected Agriculture and Hydroponics to Meet Demand for High Value Specialty Crops, with Bob Hochmuth
- FDACS Best Management Practices for a Vegetable Producer, with David Cambron, FDACS
- BMPs: Nutrient Management, Water Protection and IPM
- High Tunnel Trials: Kale, Swiss Chard and Carrots
