School bus, Tahoe collide in traffic accident

MILTON — Charges are pending in a Friday morning traffic accident that resulted in no injuries.

Glenn Denney, 55, was driving a school bus carrying four teenagers south on State Road 89 in Milton the same time Dillon Riley, 17, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe north on 89 at 7:50 a.m. Friday, according to a Florida Highway Patrol media release.

Dillon turned left into the bus’ path, according to the media release. The bus unsuccessfully swerved left to avoid a collision. The front right of the Tahoe collided with the right side of the bus.

Both vehicles came to rest in the area of the collision, according to the report.
