Run to benefit Benny Russell Park

PACE — The Mary Stewart Fortune Fun Run will benefit repairs, additions and improvements to Benny Russell Park’s playground.

The event is Dec. 3 with 8 a.m. registration at the park. The fun run starts 9 a.m. Post-run activities include an awards ceremony, a jump house, concessions and pictures with Santa Claus.

Participants also can register at active.com. Early registration, by Nov. 18, costs $25 per adult and $15 for kids 12 and under. Registration Nov. 19 and later costs $30 per adult, $20 for kids 12 and under. T-shirts will be provided to preregistered participants.
