PACE — Woodbine United Methodist Church’s Ladies of Light has scheduled its 4th annual Women’s Conference. This year’s theme is “His Vessels,” a two-day event.
The weekend kicks off 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 with guest speaker, Nancy Hammond, pastor of Bellview United Methodist Church in Pensacola. Hammond, a graduate of the College of William and Mary, who did her seminary work at Asbury Theological Seminary, will lead three sessions.
Saturday will be filled with testimonials from women at various stages of their lives, plus lots of praise and worship music. Saturday events also include a coffee session at 9 a.m., a fun craft project, time to connect with other Christian women, and a game night. A morning zumba session also will be available.
A $40 registration fee covers Saturday lunch and dinner meals. Childcare will not be unavailable.
The conference will be held at Woodbine United Methodist, 5200 Woodbine Road, Pace. Call 995-0007 for more information.
