3 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. HAVE A HOWLING GOOD TIME 1-7 p.m. Saturday at Bagdad Mill Site Park. Halloween activities include a pet costume contest, face painting and kids’ rides at 4636 Forsyth St. See http://bit.ly/2exZQeU for more information.  

2. TRICK OR TREAT IN DOWNTOWN MILTON. Pumpkin Fest takes over North Willing Street 6-9 p.m. Saturday. The event, free to attend, will feature trick-or-treating for kids under age 12, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" on an outdoor screen, a cake walk, a dance performance from the Witches of Willing Street, face painting and food. 3. CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN AT THE ZOO. Families may take their kids to the Gulf Breeze Zoo, 5701 Gulf Breeze Parkway, for ‘Boo at the Zoo — Trick or Treat Trail' on Saturday and Sunday. The event, featuring candy, toys and treasure, is set 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with admission ending at 3 p.m. Kids and adults should wear non-scary Halloween costumes.
