MILTON — Here are the latest local events and services for people of faith.

CHILDREN’S FALL FESTIVAL: 5-6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at First United Methodist Church of Pace, 4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace.Expect games, prizes, a cupcake walk, inflatable slide, balloon art, storyteller, food and a hayride. Details: 994-5608 or church@pacefumc.org.

COMMUNITY OF CHRIST CHURCH FALL FESTIVAL: 4-7 p.m. Oct. 29 at 6656 Raymond Hobbs St., Milton. Entertainment will include a football toss, oversized outdoor Twister, Giant Connect Four, Yardzee, a ring toss, bucket toss, pumpkin carving and a campfire.

MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD HOMECOMING: Celebrate the church’s 104th year 10:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at the campus. Guest speaker: West Florida District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Tommy Moore. This will also be a celebration service for Pastor Fred and Jackie Rogers as he transitions to pastor emeritus on Nov. 1 after 47 years of service.

CORA BAPTIST CHURCH WILL HOST A ‘TRUNK OR TREAT’ 4:30-6:30 pm.Sunday, Oct. 30. Decorated vehicles full of treats for kids will be parked in the church parking lot. There will be food and games in the fellowship hall, along with a short Bible time with Brother Steven.

Sunday, Oct. 30: 8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship, 9:30 a.m. Coffee Fellowship, 9:45 a.m. Sunday Bible study and 11 a.m. Contemporary Worship

Tuesday, Nov. 1: 6:30 a.m. Men of Purpose Bible Study

Wednesday, Nov. 2: 5 p.m. Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal — $6 per adult, $3 per child under 10; family maximum of $20. Also: 6-7:15 p.m. Children, Youth and Adult Bible Studies; and 7:30 p.m. Chancel Choir practice

Thursday, Nov. 3: 8 a.m. High School Youth Breakfast at Chick-fil-A, Highway 90; 10 a.m. Women’s Bible Study; and 1 p.m. Christian Faith and Hope (a women’s group that focuses on local missions.)

Saturday, Nov. 5: 11 a.m. Megan’s Love, a homeless ministry. Also: 5 p.m. Operation Christmas Child Packing Party and Potluck.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays. The Rev. M. Kathryn Knight will deliver her sermon, "The Problem with Narcissism” using scripture from Luke 18: 9-14. FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: Regular services are 10:30 a.m. Sundays at 5203 Elmira St. in downtown Milton. Sunday school — for children and adults — is held at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. A nursery is available. Open Hearts, a ministry for adults with disabilities, meets 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall.
