PACE — The Victory Performing Arts Academy Dance Team is hosting a shopping and healthy-living event, “A New and Healthy You.”
The event takes place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22 at Woodbine United Methodist Church on 5200 Woodbine Road.
Women will find an array of merchandise including jewelry, boutique clothing, fashionable accessories, cosmetics, healthy skin products and nutritional supplements.
“Local fitness instructors will host 30-minute demonstrations to encourage you to leap into fall, making that commitment to live healthy,” an event spokesperson said. “A licensed massage therapist will help you unwind after a stressful week with a complimentary chair massage.”
The morning begins with an outdoor 30-minute yoga session at 10 a.m., courtesy of Susan Neal, founder of Scripture Yoga.
“After a beautiful morning of yoga, strengthen your body with a challenging 30-minute Boot Camp at 10:45 a.m., compliments of Danah Billen, personal fitness trainer and group instructor, at In-Line Fitness,” the spokesperson said.
“Lastly, show off your dance moves at 11:30 a.m. with Street Dance led by Ms. Nicole and the VPAA Dance Team.”
Chair massages, courtesy of Chappell Kettlemen, and complimentary mini-fall photo shoots with R.K. Photography, will be available. An adult-supervised kid’s craft station, courtesy of the VPAA Dance Team, will be available for your little one to make a fall craft while you shop, exercise and receive a chair massage.
