PACE — The Azalea Garden Club of Pace welcomes green thumbs and novice gardeners alike to its first meeting.
The group will meet 1-3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 in the Pace Fire Department Conference Room, 4773 Pace Patriot Blvd.
“The Azalea Garden Club is the newest garden club in the area,” a spokesperson said. “Our club is welcoming new members and visitors to come and hear about the exciting new programs and projects we have planned.”
September’s guest speaker is Ramona Knight from Satsuma, Ala., who has grown hydrangeas for over 17 years in her garden. In 2010, she attended the Mal Condon Hydrangea Camp on Nantucket Island. In addition, she is a member of the North Mobile Garden Club.
Call Sandra, 623-6321, or Jean 380-2256, for more information on the club.
