MILTON — Santa Rosa County District 2 has a vacancy on the Santa Rosa Zoning Board. The Santa Rosa County Commission is accepting resumes to fill the opening.
The 10-member zoning board hears requests for variances and special exceptions where there are practical difficulties or unnecessary hardships due to strict application of the land development code.
It also hears and makes recommendations to county commissioners for conditional use, rezoning and comprehensive plan amendment requests, and regarding proposed land development code and comprehensive plan policies.
The board typically meets 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month in the Santa Rosa County Administration Building chambers.
