GULF BREEZE — West Florida insects are the topic Aug. 19 during the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension’s latest seminar.
"Beneficial Insects,” with Santa Rosa County agriculture agent Mike Donahoe, is set for 10 a.m. that day at the Gulf Breeze Public Library, 1060 Shoreline Drive.
Attendees will learn about native insects in the panhandle and how they can control the 'bad bugs' in your landscape and garden.
Contact Mary Derrick, 623-3868 or maryd@santarosa.fl.gov, for more information.
The extension presents monthly topics of interest to residents at the Gulf Breeze Library.
See the Santa Rosa Scene, each week in the Press Gazette, for more scheduled topics in the discussion series.
