Dear editor,
It comes as no surprise that one career politician has endorsed another. It’s very clear that these individuals are all in bed together.
Politicians beget politicians, money begets money and power begets power. Matt Gaetz is not one of the people; he is and always has been a part of the political class, born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
To quote Gov. (Mike) Huckabee: “I don’t worry about that with Matt Gaetz because if he gets elected to Congress, I think he will do what he has been doing all his political life”. No eloquent speech can take away that fact; Matt Gaetz is a career politician.
He can spend his time regurgitating the words of soon-to-be president Donald Trump all he wants, but that will not make him the establishment outsider.
He is, and always has been, the establishment.
I only hope people aren’t fooled by these behind-closed-doors, brown-envelope-under-the-table (types of) dealings, and can vote for a political outsider with both military and business experience.
