SCHOOLS INFLUENCE STUDENTS
Yeah, this is Bobby. This is for Marie Bodie, who is a Santa Rosa professional educator who wrote a letter to the paper.
She's right, in some respects, but what it amounts to, if you read that letter is, that they're going to tell your kid what they want them to think.
They don't think the parents have the sense to tell their kid what he should do, what he should think about. They come to school and they want to mold them into little liberal people is what they want to do.
That's what you get out of college and high school, and everything else is the teacher's point of view — and 90 percent of them are far left.
ALCOHOL ON SUNDAYS IN MILTON
Howdy; this is Chet Van Landen Hamm Jr. I got a complaint: Selling booze on a Sunday is an obvious sin. We are founded on Christian morals; the Lord deserves his sober honor unto him.
For too long, we have outsiders tell us what to do. They are not from here, but people will not stand for it.
Why? One word: Calvary. Let’s not forget that. Let’s not forget how Milton used to be.
PROBLEM WITH FLORIDA POLITICIANS
This is Kenneth. I think we got a problem here in Florida. We have one politician that promised to support the individual who was nominated for the presidency of the Republican party.
However, now he fails to do this.
Somehow, I think, he doesn’t believe what democracy means. Democracy means that we should support the one the majority of the people have nominated. Then we have another politician in the state of Florida running for the Senate; then he said he was not going to run for the senate.
I think we have a terrible problem with politicians in this country. I don’t know if they know what the truth really is — or how to tell the truth.
I hope God will bring the truth to them and help them to honor the truth. This I ask, Amen.
DEMONSTRATORS ARE PAID
This is Mary, a concerned senior citizen. I wonder how many people know that these mob groups are thought out and chosen, and paid.
They call them from big cities to do the demonstration and cause trouble. It's not the local people doing it. It is people from big towns.

ACCUSING MELANIA OF PLAGIARISM IS BOLOGNA
Chrys here. Whoever thinks only one person could have the sentiments expressed by Melania Trump need another thing coming.
The heartfelt presentation by Melania was a blessing. Accusing her of plagiarism is bologna. On the other hand, there could be a traitor in the Trump campaign who planned this plagiarism accusation.
I remember nothing of Michelle's speech except that, early on, she was ashamed of America or something like that.
Melania reflects the genuine love for America, the attitude of many naturalized citizens like my parents as opposed to native-born Michelles.
POLICE NEED BULLET-PROOF JACKETS
This is Oscar. This is about the killing of police officers. I think the county commission should buy bullet-proof jackets for every sheriff’s deputy in the county, and everyone should have a laser gun.
There has been too many killings of police officers in this country; we need to take this precaution now and to be sure every sheriff's department has those bullet-proof jackets and laser beam guns.
The county can pay for this with money from the cell phone tax, a communication tax that they charge us for, and also they can use liquor taxes that they collect. This is money that they didn't used to have. They have it now, and they collect it and nobody knows what they use it for. But the county does, I think, have money they collect that can even use the money from traffic tickets to pay for it with.
There is no excuse for them not to have it. Better to be safe now than sorry later.
THE BIBLE AND HOMOSEXUALITY
TC, in the beginning, God made male and female. Homosexuality is a sin and, unless they turn from that lifestyle, you are telling me they will go to heaven. I don’t think so.
If God made man and man or woman and woman, no one would be here … I don’t make judgments, God can only do that one day — and he will.
ANOTHER TAKE ON THE BIBLE AND HOMOSEXUALITY
Tony the Critic, or TTC here; I wanted to further refer the individual who used Romans 1:28 to state homosexuals are given over to a reprobate mind, to not just read the following verse therein, but to refer to 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
Here, the same author, Paul, mentions numerous types of sinners including homosexuals, but concludes such listed can and have been saved.
It is mystifying, albeit sad, that non-churchgoers such as myself are more familiar with the Bible than the opposite.
However, God instructs me as to what I say.
