MILTON — Two Milton residents are injured after a Saturday night traffic accident in Santa Rosa County.
Roland Nabors, 53, of Milton, and Michael H. Flyum, 79, of Milton were traveling northbound around 9:30 p.m. on County Road 191.
Nabors failed to slow, and collided with the rear of Flyum’s 1996 Chevy Suburban, according to a Florida Highway Patrol media release.
Nabors’ 2008 Chevy Silverado continued northbound, striking a tree on the shoulder of the westbound entrance ramp for Interstate 10, according to the release.
The Suburban spun clockwise and collided with a concrete barrier on the northbound lanes’ shoulder.
Both drivers were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
One driver was transported by helicopter; the other by ambulance, according to the release.
An alcohol investigation is pending.
