PENSACOLA — The 2nd annual “Shoot For The Stars” Basketball Camp will be held Aug. 1-4 at the University of West Florida.
Camp — open to boys and girls between ages 6 and 15 — begins each morning at 8:30 a.m. and ends each day at 4:30 p.m. Price is $150 and lunch is provided each day.
Jeff Burkhamer, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at UWF, will direct the activities. Burkhamer has 30-plus years of camp experience and looks forward to sharing his basketball knowledge with local players.
UWF’s coaching staff and players, along with area high school and junior high coaches, will make up the camp staff.
Camp highlights include a free camp jersey, individual instruction, team competition, contests, and daily league games. A free camp basketball will be given to each player.
A special price is available for those families that have more than one child attending camp.
Enrollment is limited, and advanced registration is recommended. Youngsters also may register at the door between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m. on the first day of camp providing camp limit is not filled.
