LETTER: New condominium complex would benefit Navarre Beach

Dear editor,

I am one of the developers proposing to construct a 134-unit condominium at Navarre Beach.

This land is privately owned and is zoned for 134 condo units.

The lease, which was drawn over 50 years ago, allows for a marina, which is a consideration…

We retained the services of Ecological Resource Consultants and have determined no endangered species or critical habitats of any type would be impacted.

The distance between Fort Walton and Pensacola has approximately 30 miles of Gulf and Bay frontage with only 3 miles of development. Our site is about 5 acres of privately owned land leased in 1962. The Navarre park was established in 1994, which makes the park surround the private land. It’s important to note the private land was there before the park.

It should be pointed out that our project would provide approximately $1.2 million annually to the county taxes and $3.1 million additional to the local area.
