Customer service workshop set June 23

PENSACOLA — Professionals can learn how to improve their quality of service at the Studer Community Institute’s “Harnessing the Power of Exemplary Customer Service” workshop.

The session is 8:30-11 a.m. June 23 at Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. in downtown Pensacola.

Donna Kirby, Pensacola Blue Wahoos’ vice president of operational development, will lead the workshop.

“Exemplary customer service is at the heart of every single successful company,” Kirby said. “With so much competition in today’s marketplace, and with the ability to share feedback being easier than ever, listening to your customers and, very importantly, acting on their feedback is critical to distinguishing your organization as a top choice for consumers.

“Since our inception, the Blue Wahoos have established ourselves as an elite fan experience because of our customer service. We value our fans as real-time resources who help us improve the product we offer, and this collaborative effort has been key to the Wahoos raising the bar for customer service throughout all of baseball — and beyond!”

Attendees will leave the workshop with a better understanding of how to identify the right staffers to build a culture of customer service and manage different types of employees, Kirby said.

The workshop is part of the Studer Community Institute’s continuing development sessions to help improve quality of life in Northwest Florida.
