PENSACOLA — The USO of Northwest Florida aboard NAS Pensacola is hosting a Crawfish Boil on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 for local service men and women.
“Pensacola is so proud of our military service members, and I’m humbled by everything they and their families do for both our country and this community,” said Mayor Ashton Hayward. “With the help of our great USO, we try to give back to them every day, but Memorial Day is a great opportunity to do something special.”
“Our focus this month is aimed to really emphasize to the community that there is such a thing as Military Appreciation Month,” USO Northwest Florida Director Dana Cervantes-Richardson said.
Last year, over 500 service members and supporters attended this Louisiana-style event.
