NO NEW ORLEANS IN MILTON
Yes, this is David in Pace, and Patsy Lunsford is 100 percent correct on this “Council mulls Sunday alcohol sales.” There is no need for more alcohol sales in Milton, and she is right — it’s looking like New Orleans. New Orleans is one of the nastiest places in the world, and I agree with her 100 percent, and I hope they allow no more alcohol anything in Milton.
TROUBLES WITH PACE WATER SYSTEM
I would like to say something about the Pace Water System.
There is 12 months in a year, right? They itemize your bill three months out of that year, and heaven forbid or God help you if you got a bad leak in them three months, because if you do you are going to pay out the nose on the water bill for the rest of the year until you get itemized again.
I think that needs to be changed, because there ain’t no way people on a fixed income can pay that every month — and they ain’t got to.
THE BUTCHERING OF TREES ON BELL LANE
Yes, this is Patsy and I have a comment. The tree service company that just cut the trees on Bell Lane — they need to come back; they did not butcher them enough.
BE CHRIST-LIKE THE ENTIRE YEAR
This is Tony the critic. In lieu of the National Day of Prayer, I feel we should have a national day to be Christ-like, not self-like.
Really, this recognition should cover 365 days a year or 364 depending, but that is impossible.
(People) complain about food God provided.
Complain about others; they are God’s creation as well — imagine just like you.
Complain about your job; you have one.
Complain about the weather; you are allowed to be part of it.
Further examples are too numerous to mention. Bicker, slander, gossip, complain — say you love the sinner but hate the sin. Then you mock and make fun of them.
The Bible addresses all. No guilt about this; the Bible addresses this as well.
After being raised in church, no wonder I finally quit going.
SATAN RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA?
Hello, this is Marie in reply to Tony the critic about God putting Obama in office. Sorry to say, Tony, it was Satan, not God, who put him in office.
HELPING THOSE IN DESPERATE NEED
This is Mary, a concerned senior citizen. This is about the woman who had a stroke and then her husband died in 2014 at Milton.
She was allowed to die in her own body secretion. Were there any other relatives that could have looked in on her? No home health care caring for her after her husband died. No neighbors looking in on her.
What a pitiful shame for something like this could happen.
