Project ideas sought for first ever Santa Rosa Day of Service

MILTON — SAFER Santa Rosa, in partnership with Santa Rosa County, is organizing the first Santa Rosa Day of Service, set for Saturday, July 23.

Organizations can recommend projects online to be matched with resources. For instance, a small business might submit a road clean-up project but need more manpower. A service group might submit a ramp-build project but need materials.

Submit your project for consideration early and ask your employees, co-workers, friends and family to set this day aside to work together to improve your community, organizers said.

Sponsors, both for materials and monetary donations, are also needed to fund resource-intensive projects.
