MILTON — Santa Rosa County ranks as one of the most insured places in Florida, according to SmartAsset’s second annual insurance study.
Santa Rosa County cracked the list at No. 5, a repeat of its performance in last year's study. The study compares coverage rates across all counties for life, health, and auto insurance, to see where citizens are leading in coverage.
According to the data:
●79 percent of Santa Rosa residents have automobile insurance
●86.9 percent of Santa Rosa residents have health insurance
●38.5 percent of residents have life insurance
