4 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. GET YOUR CRAWFISH ON. Milton High School’s band will raise funds for new instruments and equipment 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday during its first-ever crawfish festival and car show at the school, 5445 Stewart St. Admission is $5, or free for children ages 5 and under. The event also will feature children’s activities, vendors and live music from the MHS Jazz Band and other local groups. Call 983-5611 for more information.

2. IN THE MOOD FOR SOME SHAKESPEARE? The Pace High School Drama Department will bring William Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” to the stage this weekend. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with a Sunday performance at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5. Call 995-3600 ext. 1159 for more information.

3. ‘PEANUTS: THE MOVIE’ will be featured during ‘Flicks on the Field,’ 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the Pace Athletic & Recreation Association Football Complex, 536 Limbaugh Lane in Pace. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets, along with their own picnic. Concessions will also be available. 

4. FIVE WORDS: ARTS AND CRAFTS AT ARCADIA. Parents and guardians may bring children for free arts and crafts 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the classroom at Arcadia Mill, 5709 Mill Pond Lane.
