PENSACOLA — Have you ever wondered about how to do business with the city of Pensacola?
Turns out, there’s a workshop for that.
The Florida Small Business Development Center’s event is 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 13 at the University of West Florida’s Government Contracting Services.
Hosea Goodwyn, the city of Pensacola’s assistant purchasing manager, will share how to register as a vendor and find bid opportunities. Attendees will also learn about a new initiative to have more minority and woman-owned businesses submit bids.
There is no cost for this workshop, however, pre-registration is recommended. Call 474-2528 to pre-register. Visit www.sbdc.uwf.edu and click “training opportunities” for more information.
The FSBDC at UWF Government Contracting Services is funded through federal and state agencies to provide counseling and technical assistance to Florida firms interested in the local, state and federal markets.
