The Milton Rotary Club enjoyed a presentation by Dr. Bryan Unruh, from the University of Florida West Florida Research and Education Center. The Research and Education center is located on 640 acres in Santa Rosa County. Researchers at the facility plant and study multiple types of grass, allowing them to study the effects of drought, shade and fertilizer, just to name a few. Grass that is patented right here in Santa Rosa County is distributed across the country to golf courses, sports arenas and household lawns. Pictured are Milton Rotary President Dr. Georgieanna Bryant and Dr. Unruh. Milton Rotary meets each Tuesday at noon at Grover T's BBQ, visitors welcome.
