The Retired Officers' Wives and Widows Association (ROWWA) will meet the second Thursday,

March 10 at Skopelos, located at New World Landing,600S.Palafox,Pensacola.

Membership is open to wives, widows and retired women officers of all military services. For

Morning Glory Circle

Morning Glory Circle meeting will be on March 10th at 9:30 a.m. Our March program will be at 10:30 by Jay McGuire who is a manager of the Lawn Department at Lowe's. The  subject is March Madness. Everyone is invited to attend and guest are requested to call Lynn at 675-6744 for lunch count. The meeting and lunch is located at the Milton Garden Club, 5256 Alabama Street.

Early Learning Coalition

The Early Learning Coalition of Santa RosaCountywill hold executive (9 a.m.), finance (9:30 a.m.), and board (10 a.m.), meetings on March 8. The meetings will be held in the Santa RosaCountyHealth Department conference room, 5527 Stewart Street in Milton. For more information call 983-5313.

Read Across America – March 5

In honor of Read Across America, the Santa Rosa County Library System will host a special storytime and craft at all five libraries Saturday, March 5 at 10 a.m. Volunteers from the Pensacola Little Theater will present the story at Gulf Breeze, Milton, Navarre and Pace Libraries. The story will be presented by Ms. Linda at the Jay Library. This program is free and open to the public. In consideration of all participants, programs will start promptly at the assigned times. Panhandle Community Theatre holds live performance during Riverwalk Arts Festival – March 5, 6

Celebrating PCT’s 10th anniversary, the PCT players perform “The Restaurant” by Dan Greenburg on the Blackwater Bistro Porch. The play is a short comedy about a couple who confront some unique consequences of language, dining, and romance while traveling in a foreign country. Directed by Patty Berry, the cast consist of  Danny Thomas as Norman, Bonnie Marks as Alice, and Michael Fletcher as Waiter. Showtimes are March 5 and 6 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. both days.

The Panhandle Community Theatre presents: “Life Love & Laughter,” directed by Bonnie Marks. The PCT will hold auditions March 7 and 8 at 6:30 p.m. at 4646 Woodbine Road in Pace. CVMA PTSD Awareness Poker Run – March 12

The Third Annual PTSD Awareness Poker Run will be held Saturday, March 12. The ride begins at Harley Davidson on Highway 29 and registration will begin at 9 a.m. For more information call 324-6829.

The Compassionate Friends – March 19

The Pensacola Chapter of The Compassionate Friends invites bereaved parents, siblings, relatives and friends to register now for our Third Annual “Walk to Remember” Saturday, March 19 at 9 a.m. The local walk will be held at Pensacola State College Track (Main Campus).  Following the event there will be brief memorial service. You do not need to be a member of The Compassionate Friends to join with us and you do not need to walk the full walk. We welcome everyone who wants to join hands and hearts in remembering all children who have died too soon. Guy Thompson Community Center

The GTCC Bridge Club meets every Monday from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The club is party-style and partners are encouraged. There is no cost to play. Players are expected to learn the game of bridge on their own to improve their play. For more information contact GTCC Parks and Recreation at 983-5466.
