Early Saturday morning at approximately 3 a.m., Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a suspicious person call at the Circle K located at 2665 Avalon Blvd in Milton. Witnesses stated an individual was observed walking up to the front entry door wearing a hood and mask but never made entry into the building. The suspect left in a pickup truck before deputies arrived.
At 4 a.m., SRSO dispatch received a call related to a robbery at the Circle K located at 5661 Quintette Road in Pace. An individual wearing a hoodie and a mask entered the store demanding money and was armed with some type of bar or pipe. After the clerk yelled at the robber, the suspect fled the store.
A BOLO (Be On The Lookout) was immediately disseminated to all Santa Rosa deputies. Deputies located and conducted a traffic stop on a potential suspect vehicle. Occupant(s) of the vehicle were detained andquestioned in relation to this investigation.
This case is being considered an active investigation as of this release. As information becomes available, we will issue additional press releases. Connections to the other robberies on Hwy 87 are not being made at this time.
